Susanne Hemery married on 17 September 1803 the Rev Philippe Le Breton, Rector of St Saviour and son of the late Dean of Jersey. He was the brother of Thomas Le Breton who married Susanne’s sister Marguerite. They were married by the Rev Dupre, Dean of Jersey.
They had six children, Philip Edward Hemery Le Breton born 30 October 1806, James Edward born 20 APril 1809 who married Ellen (Eleanora) Dickinson, Susannah Jane born in 1811, Mary Anne born in 1813, Emma Susanna born in 1814 and Henrietta born 1817. They had at least eight grandchildren. Susanne died in 1818.
Philip Hemery Le Breton became an attorney at law in 1828, married the authoress Anna Laetitia Aiken (1808–1885) daughter of Charles Rochemont Aiken of Bloomsbury Square London, on 6 August 1833. They had eight children. Anna Laetitia was their eldest daughter, other children included Philip Aiken and Arthur Hemery Le Breton. Anna Laetitia, daughter of Philip Hemery Le Breton of Inner Temple and Hampstead married 22.11.1864 at Lyme Regis Frank J Roscoe of Victoria Australia.
Philip Hemery Le Breton was a barrister and a leading figure in Hampstead who lived in Milford House John Street (Keats Grove) and served on the local church vestry until 1880. By his initiative and perseverance he secured Hampstead Heath for the public.
James Edward was born 20.4.1809, died 21.10.1855, and married Eleanor Ann (Ellen) daughter of Joseph Dickinson of Headingley Yorkshire. He was sometime a merchant at Rio de Janeiro. They had four children, Edward Hemery Le Breton, Ellen Charlotte, Edith Harriet and Henry Philip Le Breton.
