Historic farm group with mid-17th century house retaining its character and some fine internal features. The main house has A-frame trusses still supporting a king post roof.
Published reference to carpenter's marks on beams as very early examples of lead pencils. Outbuildings circa mid-18th century to 1800. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Converted cow shed adjoining at right angles to east, granite rubble with slate roof.

Large corbelled fireplace with elm bressummer on west gable. 19th century fireplace and grate on east gable. Stair doglegged stick baluster, turned newel.
