This was the house where he was brought up, but although he inherited the house from his father, he did not live there with his family, but chose to live above his shop in Queen Street

Listed building Mid-late 19th century seaside house with many original features and historic character. Important for its contribution to the terrace which is so prominent in the approach to Mount Bingham from Havre des Pas and Promenade de la Plage.
T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) lived here when his family temporarily moved to Jersey in 1893.
Three-storey, three-bay house. The interior retains the original staircase.
