A drawing from the book of a Jersey policeman

Constant Le Tours was one of a number of French writers to interrupt a tour of the coasts of Normandy and Brittany in the late 19th century to pay a visit to Jersey. These images come from his book Vingt jours sur les cotes de Normandie et Bretagne et a l'Ile de Jersey, a copy of which is retained in the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris
